Established in 1891 in northern Idaho’s Silver Valley, Hecla Mining Company’s rich history of mining has distinguished it as a respected precious metals producer. The San Juan Silver Joint Venture is located in a roughly 23-square mile consolidated land package in the historic Creede, CO mining district. The San Juan Silver Mining Joint Venture has an identified silver resource of approximately 48 million ounces, with potential for additional resources through targeted exploration on three known vein systems: Bulldog, Amethyst and Equity. Hecla has developed a solid base with long-life, low-cost mines; four district-sized land positions with organic growth opportunities; and an excellent cash position with no debt.
