Mining Issues - Mine Safety
The Colorado Mining Association represents the coal and metals mining industries in Colorado. The members take their safety obligations seriously and strive to provide a safe workplace for mine workers. Many of our companies have received awards from either the Mine Safety and Health Administration or the State of Colorado for outstanding safety practices. Two operations have received the nation's highest safety honor, the Sentinels of Safety Award by MSHA.
