The Government Affairs Manager works closely with the Executive Director and the Association’s standing committees on federal Mining Law, public lands, critical and strategic minerals, environmental, health and safety, permitting, public outreach and other issues impacting its members at both the federal and state levels. Certified Mine Foreman, Colorado Geotemps is urgently seeking a Certified Mine Foreman for their client company in Colorado. This is a Direct Hire position, not a temporary assignment. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in surface coal mining or related mining experience. Underground coal experience is a plus. Degree is not required. This candidate will be a Certified Mine Foreman in the State of Colorado. This is a 6 month project outside of Durango, Colorado. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue on with this company at this project as well as others. A vehicle will be provided and per diem.
